How it works

Three steps, then nothing to remember.

There is no logging, no tapping through an app after every drink. Put the glass down and the coaster does the counting.

    Place your glass on it

    SipNudger is a coaster with a scale inside. Set any glass, bottle, or mug on top — nothing to log by hand.

  2. 02

    It senses every sip

    A load cell reads the weight change when the glass comes back down, so what you drank is added to a running daily total.

  3. 03

    It nudges you when you're behind

    Fall behind your goal for the time of day and the ring lights up, the motor buzzes, or the buzzer sounds. You pick which.

What it does

An instrument, not another reminder app.

  • Weight-based sensing

    A load cell under the plate measures your glass, so the total comes from real weight change — not a timer you tap to dismiss.

  • Nudges you can live with

    A 24-LED ring, a vibration motor, and a buzzer. Turn on the alert types you want, choose how often it nudges, and leave the rest quiet.

  • Goals that follow your day

    Set a daily target in millilitres or ounces, the hours that count as your day, and which weekdays are active. Weekends can look different.

  • History in the app or a browser

    Readings sync over Wi-Fi, so your daily totals and past days are there in the phone app — or after signing in from any browser.

  • Bluetooth setup

    Pair from the phone app over Bluetooth, hand the device your Wi-Fi details, and it starts reporting. No web forms, no hunting for IP addresses.

  • Nudge the coaster, your phone, or both

    A reminder can light the ring and buzz the coaster, arrive as a notification on your phone, or do both at once. Pick per alert type — quiet desk, loud pocket, whatever suits.

  • More than one coaster

    Keep one on the desk and one in the kitchen. They stay in sync and their totals add up into a single daily figure, so it does not matter which glass you reach for.

  • Adjust it by hand

    Drank something the coaster never saw? Add or correct an amount from the phone app or the browser and the day’s total updates everywhere.

  • Your data, our own backend

    Readings go to a backend we run ourselves, with no third-party analytics or trackers riding along.
